On Tuesday, May 17, White Oaks Secondary School in Oakville is holding their 2nd Annual Art Auction and Pasta Dinner organised by the school’s Free the Children Committee.
To date the committee has raised enough money to have a school built in the village of Emori Joi, Kenya. The money raised from this year’s fundraiser will continue to support Free the Children‘s efforts in Kenya.
I donated this print to their art auction. I hope it does well for them and that the whole event is a huge success!

I just got back from the auction, Les. Your photo got a lot of advanced buzz and there were several people (myself included) who placed bids on it back and forth. One of our school secretaries was the ultimate winner and was thrilled with it. Since we were raising money for a well, the picture couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. Thanks again!
