I’m so excited to announce my first solo exhibition:
pii en kwo :: water is life
Ryan’s Well Projects in Uganda
Photo Exhibit
Shenkman Arts Centre
Ottawa
March 3 – 31, 2011
In February 2010, I accompanied Ryan’s Well Foundation representatives on their monitoring trip to Uganda to document the work they do throughout the country. We visited a number of schools and communities where water, sanitation and hygiene education (WASH) programs had been recently implemented by Ryan’s Well and their local partners.
The photos in this exhibit showcase the incredible impact Ryan’s Well projects have on the local people – not only in bringing life-giving water and sanitation, but in helping to build a foundation for economic development, improved health and well-being, and fostering a sense of empowerment and hope for a better future.
Framed and unframed prints will be available for sale. A portion of each sale will be donated to the Ryan’s Well Foundation.

Thanks to Framing Dames for doing such a beautiful job framing my photos. A huge thank you to Dean, Julie and Véronique for helping me with the installation earlier this week; below are some photos. Another huge thank you to Erica from the Ryan’s Well Foundation for doing much of the work to make this all happen!
